Three miles South sits Parker's Retreat thus the accommodation is ideally situated for fishing the Rivers North and South Esk, West water, Loch Lee and a variety of beach fishing on the coast.

Excellent Migratory salmon and sea trout fishing can be found on both the rivers North and South Esk the season starts the 16th of February until the 31st of October.
